Role Description The Emergency Doctor Instructor will be responsible for delivering structured educational sessions, workshops, and practical simulations in emergency medicine and urgent care to medical professionals and trainees. Day-to-day tasks include preparing evidence-based teaching materials, developing curricula, assessing learner performance through exams and practical evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to support participants clinical growth. The instructor will collaborate with other faculty members to ensure alignment with international standards and best practices, participate in course planning and improvement, and contribute to academic discussions and case reviews. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, requiring regular classroom presence and occasional participation in academic events, seminars, or training activities organized by Med Plus Academy.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong clinical expertise in Emergency Medicine and Emergency Services.
- Candidates should possess skills and experience in Urgent Care and Critical Care Medicine.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine with a focus on acute and life-threatening conditions.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with formal training or certification in emergency or critical care specialties.
- Prior teaching, lecturing, or clinical training experience in academic or hospital settings.
- Ability to design and deliver structured curricula, including simulation-based and case-based learning.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex clinical concepts clearly and objectively.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and learner-centered education.
- Fluency in English is preferred; proficiency in relevant local languages is an advantage.
