About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our healthcare team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will provide pre-hospital emergency care, respond to medical emergencies, and support patient transport while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care. Experience in onshore/offshore or industrial settings is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide pre-hospital medical care
- Assess patient conditions and administer appropriate first aid and life support
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring vital signs
- Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment
- Assist doctors and nurses during emergency situations when required
- Maintain accurate patient care reports and documentation
- Ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations and protocols
- Follow infection control, safety, and occupational health standards
- Participate in emergency drills and training sessions
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or equivalent
- Valid EMT license/certification recognized in Qatar (MOPH) or eligible for licensing
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as an EMT or in emergency response
- Strong knowledge of basic and advanced life support procedures
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and willing to work shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in onshore/offshore, oil & gas, or industrial healthcare settings
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PHTLS
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety practices
- Previous experience in Qatar
