Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Emergency Medical Technician role located in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi. The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will be responsible for providing first-response medical care to individuals in need, including assessing patient conditions, administering basic life support (BLS), and coordinating advanced life-saving interventions when necessary. Daily tasks include operating and maintaining emergency equipment, documenting patient care records, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality emergency medical services (EMS). The EMT will also participate in medical training activities to enhance readiness and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Emergency Services, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and responding to critical situations under pressure.
  • Certification from the U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), or equivalent, is required.
  • Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in providing Paramedic-level care within pre-hospital settings.
  • Strong background in medicine, including working knowledge of first aid, CPR, trauma care, and basic life support (BLS) procedures.
  • Exceptional decision-making skills, ability to work in fast-paced environments, and effective communication with healthcare teams and patients.
  • Knowledge of UAE health regulations and compliance standards.
  • Physical fitness to perform demanding tasks and the ability to adapt quickly to different emergency scenarios.
  • Previous experience in industrial or remote site medical support, especially in energy, oil and gas, or construction sectors, is an advantage.
