Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals, and modern diagnostic and treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment and stabilisation of emergency, trauma, cardiac, medical, surgical, and paediatric presentations
• Manage resuscitation, airway management, procedural sedation, and critical decision-making in the emergency department
• Triage complex cases, supervise emergency teams, and coordinate timely specialist referrals
• Ensure safe patient flow, observation unit decisions, transfers, and discharge planning
• Participate in disaster preparedness, trauma protocols, simulation training, and clinical governance
• Maintain accurate emergency documentation, medico-legal compliance, and patient safety standards
  
  

Requirements

• UK CCT / FRCEM
• European Board of Emergency Medicine
• Royal College Certification (Canada)
