A prestigious UAE Government entity is seeking an experienced Director of Facilities & Infrastructure to lead the strategic planning, development, operation and continuous improvement of a large-scale multi-site portfolio across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing facilities management, infrastructure, capital projects, sustainability initiatives, business continuity and contractor performance while ensuring operational excellence across two UAE locations (Dubai and Abu Dhabi).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, and capital development projects.
- Oversee major construction, renovation, fit-out, and asset management programmes.
- Develop and implement long-term facilities and infrastructure strategies.
- Manage departmental budgets, contracts, consultants, and service providers.
- Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmental initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
- Lead business continuity, risk management, and resilience planning.
- Build strong relationships with government authorities and key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Emirati National holding the Family Book.
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale facilities, infrastructure portfolios and capital projects.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management and budget management capabilities.
- Excellent English communication skills.
This role is primarily based in either Dubai or Abu Dhabi, with visits to both sites (as required).
