Commercial Interior Designer
ROLE SUMMARY
The Commercial Interior Designer is responsible for creating test fits, concepts, detailed designs, and pop-up layouts, ensuring alignment with Majid Al Futtaim brand guidelines.
ROLE PROFILE
- Contribute to the development of the business unit's creative strategy by providing design insights and ensuring alignment with overall business priorities.
- Execute the design strategy for Majid Al Futtaim brands in line with each brand's overall direction and identity.
- Revise and update design drawings based on client feedback and project modifications.
- Ensure all store specifications and dimensions are accurately documented and maintained.
- Update and maintain store design plans and architectural details to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain an organized documentation system to enable efficient storage and retrieval of design-related information.
- Update and maintain the Majid Al Futtaim Stores Fixtures Manual to support the production of equipment and fixtures across all stores and locations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Arts & Design.
- Minimum 24 years of experience in architectural design or interior design within retail, or mall development sectors.
- AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit preferred.
- Strong rendering and visualization skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with lighting and electrical systems and basic control technologies.
