Key Responsibilities


As our Employee Engagement Trainee your role will include, but is not limited to:
  • HR Operations & Administration:
○ Support the onboarding and offboarding logistics, including IT equipment requests, benefits enrollment, employee profile creation, relocation administration, and the preparation of essential exit documentations.
○ Maintain accurate personnel records by updating employee information and filing new documents as needed.
○ Process HR monthly invoicing on our expense system with accuracy and efficiency.
○ Update and maintain accurate records of employee leave and lieu day accruals within the TIMMI system, following company attendance policies.
○ Coordinate logistics for HR department meetings and events, and prepare HR presentations and reports.
○ Prepare various employee documents upon request, including salary certificates, NOC letters, and official employment letters.
○ Address and escalate employee questions or concerns, acting as a helpful and reliable point of contact.
  • Employee Engagement:
○ Oversee Birthday Celebrations and special occasions (e.g., marriages, new arrivals, farewells), arranging thoughtful gifts.
○ Track employee work anniversaries and prepare letters and certificates, ensuring all benefits are arranged according to their specific entitlements.
○ Assist in organizing and coordinating employee engagement activities and team-building events to help foster a positive company culture.
  • Employer Brand & Communications:
○ Support the production of the Monthly Worldwide HR Newsletter, ensuring a fresh, engaging, and professional tone that resonates with our global team in coordination with the Corporate Communications Team.
○ Partner with the Corporate Communications team to track all new joiners and internal moves for the weekly internal Movers & Shakers announcements.
○ Maintain and continuously improve the Employee Handbook by ensuring information stays up to date while refining the content to be more engaging and user-friendly.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Applicants must be currently based in the UAE with a valid residency (Golden Visa, Student Visa, Family Visa).
  • Open to recently graduated students or those still studying looking to fulfil their Internship requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a flair for creating engaging content and compelling presentations.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Canva) is essential.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and content creation tools
