Job Title: Mid-Level Employment Lawyer
Location: Dubai, UAE (open to candidates currently based in Dubai or interested in relocating)
About the Role
We are seeking a talented mid-level Employment Lawyer to join a law firm in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising both regional and international clients across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on UAE labour law matters, including hiring, terminations, disciplinary processes, and employee relations
- Support clients with employment aspects of corporate transactions (due diligence, restructuring, redundancies)
- Handle employment disputes and liaise with relevant courts and tribunals
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice to clients
- Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments in UAE employment law
Candidate Requirements
- 2–8 years PQE (or equivalent experience) in employment law
- Experience gained at a reputable law firm
- Strong knowledge of employment law (UAE experience preferred but not essential)
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
