Job Description: Engagement Manager

Role Summary

As the Engagement Manager for ADAFSA, you will serve as the senior program lead, responsible for end-to-end stakeholder management, program governance, and executive-level reporting. Your leadership will ensure predictable, high-quality delivery across all program streams, maintaining alignment with ADAFSA's strategic objectives and public sector standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Senior Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary senior point of contact with ADAFSA leadership, expertly managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining clear, effective communications.
  • Governance Management: Lead program governance activities, including SteerCo and working group sessions, establishing meeting cadence, maintaining decision logs, and overseeing approval processes.
  • Integrated Program Planning: Drive the development and execution of integrated plans across multiple workstreams, managing interdependencies and tracking delivery milestones to ensure timely outcomes.
  • Risk, Issues, and Escalations: Own the identification, assessment, and management of risks, issues, and dependencies. Lead escalation processes and resolve challenges efficiently, assigning clear actions and accountability.
  • Scope and Change Control: Oversee program scope and change management, ensuring delivery aligns with the Statement of Work (SOW), commercial agreements, and financial tracking requirements.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all program activities meet public-sector compliance obligations, with a focus on security, privacy, and audit readiness.

Must-Have Experience

  • Minimum of 15 years experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivery in the public sector or other regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex AI technical programs.
  • Expertise in executive stakeholder management and governance leadership.
  • Experience coordinating onshore and offshore delivery teams across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Exceptional reporting and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with government organizations or agencies in the Middle East region.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement, compliance, and audit processes.
