Engineer, Field

At ADNOC Drilling OFS, this position is responsible for implementing directional drilling ( Motor Performance Jobs ) and Measurement While Drilling/ Logging While Drilling operations at wellsite. Also supervising and instructing Junior Field Engineers on wellsite work and activities. This position is also responsible for maintaining frequent internal and external customer contacts in order to maintain and grow the companyu2019s status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry. This position is responsible for providing mainly motor performance and Logging While Drilling (LWD) solutions at well sites.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Under minimal supervision, provide direct instruction and supervision to junior Field Engineers on day-to-day wellsite work and activities.u00B7 Provide advice and direction to external customer and third-party wellsite colleagues as appropriate.u00B7 Provide resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the wellsite where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line's tool(s) and/or service(s).u00B7 Work is evaluated upon completion by a Field Supervisor (where appropriate), local Operations Management and the external Customer to ensure objectives have been met.u00B7 Act as a project leader and mentor junior field engineers.u00B7 Maintain frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism.u00B7 Execute other related duties as assigned.u00B7 Conduct all business activities in accordance with ADNOC Drilling Standard Operating Procedures, HSE policies and Legal Compliance requirements.u00B7 Successfully complete additional advanced technical training and assigned well site development programs.u00B7 Providing resolution to drilling problems of moderately complex scope at the well site where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.u00B7 Exercising judgment to determine the appropriate action at the well site when performing well site surveys ,directional work, and LWD work.u00B7 Recognizing the operational status of field equipment at the well site and maintaining it when appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
uF0B7 BSc in an engineering discipline, or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
uF0B7 5 years field experience
uF0B7 Fluency in spoken and written English.
uF0B7 Good computer knowledge.
