Overview
The Engineer - Full Stack at Inception is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining core platform components that enable scalable AI capabilities across the organization. This role requires strong backend and frontend engineering skills, experience building enterprise-grade platforms, and the ability to deliver secure, reliable systems used by multiple teams. The Full Stack Developer will work closely with architecture, security, and delivery teams to ensure platform services are robust, reusable, and production-ready.

This role focuses on creating reusable services, APIs, and interfaces that simplify and accelerate delivery across multiple use cases. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, the role contributes to the long-term reliability, scalability, and evolution of AI platform capabilities.

Partnering with Microsoft's AI SaaS offerings, Inception delivers domain-specific, agent-based AI platforms designed for precision, scalability, and cost-effective deployment. Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core platform components including backend services, APIs, SDKs, and internal frontend frameworks
- Develop reusable, pro-code foundations that enable rapid and repeatable AI agent development
- Build and evolve platform capabilities such as agent orchestration, lifecycle management, and workflow execution services
- Implement configuration, policy layers, and shared UI components for monitoring and interaction
- Ensure platform components are scalable, secure, and production-ready for multiple consuming teams
- Collaborate closely with architecture, security, and DevOps teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards
- Support controlled platform releases and upgrades without disrupting live deployments
Qualifications
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 58 years of experience in full stack or platform engineering roles, with a focus on enterprise or technology platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality and maintainability
- Ability to design and build systems intended for reuse across multiple teams
- Comfortable working in environments with strong governance, security, and release controls
To qualify for the role you must have
- Strong frontend development experience using React
- Strong backend development skills in Python
- Experience designing and working with databases, including schema design and data access patterns
- Proven experience building enterprise or internal platforms
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, orchestration, and workflow engines
- Ability to work from architectural guidance and convert it into robust, maintainable implementations
