Job Purpose
This role ensures proper execution, installation, inspection, manage and review of electrical systems for construction projects, ensuring that all installations are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant electrical codes and Safety standards. The Engineer, Construction Electrical, plays a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical work by coordinating with contractors, senior Electrical Engineers and site management, managing documentation, and monitoring project budgets and progress.
Principal Accountabilities
Policies, Processes & Procedures

Electrical System Execution and Design
- Develop and review detailed electrical system designs and specifications to meet project requirements, technical standards, and operational efficiency goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of electrical installation data into the project management system to support tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical installations and wiring to verify compliance with design specifications and relevant codes.
- Review electrical plans and blueprints to identify issues, recommend improvements, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate with senior engineers to monitor electrical project budgets, track costs, and support cost-control efforts for financial efficiency.
- Manage electrical project documentation, including drawings, reports, and records, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and proper version control.
Technical Coordination and Field Support
- Collaborate with senior staff, PM, CM, subcontractors, and site teams to communicate technical requirements and ensure smooth integration of electrical systems.
- Support on-site electrical teams by providing technical input, tracking progress, and helping ensure quality execution aligned with project schedules.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering
- 5- 6 Years of experience in Infrastructure Electrical Construction
