Job Purpose
This role ensures successful execution of mechanical construction projects by overseeing installation and execution of mechanical systems/equipment. Conduct site assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, manage project budgets, facilitate communication with management /stakeholders, implement quality control measures, and resolve technical issues. Deliver innovative, efficient, and high-quality mechanical solutions that meet project specifications and exceed industry standards.
Principal Accountabilities
Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a productive work environment.
- Implement and uphold safety and security protocols to protect the well-being of all employees and company assets.
Mechanical System Execution and Support
- Collaborate with senior engineers and the technical team to design mechanical systems using engineering principles and software, delivering efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinate with senior staff to assess mechanical installation sites, evaluate readiness, and support accurate planning.
- Support and oversee mechanical installations to ensure alignment with design specifications, quality standards, and technical requirements.
- Monitor mechanical works to ensure compliance with mechanical codes, project specifications, and environmental standards.
- Contribute to the preparation and management of project budgets alongside senior engineers, tracking expenditures for financial control.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to uphold standards in mechanical installations and overall system performance.
Technical Coordination and Communication
- Communicate regularly with project management and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain alignment with project goals.
- Resolve technical issues within assigned authority to prevent delays and ensure project continuity.
- Compile detailed technical reports documenting progress, outcomes, and system performance for internal use and stakeholder review.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Perform additional duties as needed to support the team and overall business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering
- 5- 6 Years of experience in Infrastructure/ Mechanical Construction industry
