We are seeking a talented and experienced Engineer Planning & Scheduling. In this key role, you will develop and implement planning and scheduling orders and notification in SAP-PM for O&M assets. as per approved maintenance plan in alignment with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for power and water assets, including routine, preventive, and reliability-based maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to align schedules with operational demands and minimize downtime.
- Create and manage work orders, ensuring that they are detailed, prioritized, and scheduled appropriately.
- Monitor the progress of maintenance activities and adjust schedules as needed to address delays or changes.
- Ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively to support maintenance schedules.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities, such as equipment uptime, completion rates, and adherence to schedules.
- Prepare reports and provide insights on maintenance performance to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure that maintenance activities are coordinated and aligned with overall operational goals.
- Identify potential risks associated with maintenance activities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, work orders, and performance metrics.
- Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance planning and scheduling to management and other stakeholders.
- Evaluate current planning and scheduling processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that maintenance activities comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS) and scheduling software.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing conditions.
