Job Purpose
The role involves assembling and coordinating the information, human resources, materials, equipment and any other necessary resources in order to complete projects and activities on time and ensure uninterrupted service to customers with the best utilization of available resources. The jobholder is the principal liaison person between the maintenance and operation teams and other supporting departments and work in coordination with other Planners / Planning Engineers and the CPO Front Office Helpdesks.
Job Description / Key Accountabilities
QHSE
- Comply with the relevant QHSE procedures and instructions within the area of responsibility so that personal safety and the safety of others is not jeopardized.
- Report any health and safety risks, hazards, near misses and accidents immediately.
- Use the appropriate PPE and inform direct Supervisor when replacement is required.
- Maintain company vehicle and drive with due care and attention adhering to Traffic Safety Rules and Vehicle Traffic Management Procedure.
- Maintain tools and equipment issued and keep in good order at all times.
- Complete individual safety checks, inspection and audits as required.
- Support and participate in the implementation of Integrated Management System (IMS)
Policies & Procedures
- Follow all relevant operational procedures and work instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Planning & Scheduling
- Developing and implementing the planned preventative maintenance, corrective, or emergency long term, weekly and daily work activities for the business units and other department including human resources, materials, equipment.
- Prepare the shutdown & overhauling program for the assigned area.
- Facilitate the weekly planning and scheduling meeting in the assigned facilities.
- Facilitate the weekly walk down with Operation and Maintenance teams in the assigned facilities.
- Prioritizing and scheduling the planned preventative maintenance, corrective, or emergency work including creating the sequential order of activities, duration, and determine the start and finish dates of each activity.
- Ensure availability and suitability of all materials, and arrange all support needed, associated with planned and scheduled jobs.
- Coordinate with other Dispatchers (Planners and Schedulers), such as Heavy Equipment, to ensure the all required resources are prioritized and scheduled.
- Act a focal point for internal communication with other sections and departments.
- Monitor the execution of the scheduled activities (plan versus actual).
- Analyze the planning and scheduling activities and provide proposals and solutions to increase the efficiency.
Performance Reporting
- Prepare reports on the full range of equipment maintenance planning and activities, maintenance performance and KPI.
Budget & Cost Control
- Assist the Lead Engineer, Planning & Scheduling in monitoring the financial performance of the assigned projects and work activities.
- Contribute in preparing the annual operational budget by providing the required input.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Technical Diploma in any technical engineer discipline.
