Stevin Rock is seeking an experienced Shift Engineer - Static Plant to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our crushing and screening plants. This role is responsible for delivering production targets, maintaining product quality, coordinating maintenance activities, and leading operational teams during shift operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring plant performance, equipment reliability, workforce safety, and continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crusher plant operations during shift activities.
• Ensure production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to specification.
• Monitor crusher, screen, conveyor, and associated plant performance.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and maximise equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and permit requirements.
• Monitor product quality and work closely with Quality Control to maintain required specifications.
• Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Manage and develop foremen, operators, and support personnel.
• Prepare shift reports and maintain accurate production records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
  
  

Essential

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mining or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years experience in crushing plant, quarrying, mining, cement, aggregates, or heavy industrial operations.
• Experience supervising operational teams in a 24/7 production environment.
• Strong understanding of crushing, screening, conveying and material handling systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience within quarrying, mining, aggregates or cement industries.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and asset reliability principles.
• UAE driving licence.
