Job Description
The Engineer/UNOC-Mobile Core will be a key member of our Unified NOC team, responsible for maintaining and optimizing our IP services and infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of IP technologies, systems, and standards to ensure efficient daily operations and provide expert support for our Internet services.
Responsibilities
- Implement day-to-day operation routines for all Mobile Core Operation systems, services.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades on core network components
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving network issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Understanding of security principles and practices specific to mobile core networks.
- Ability to implement and maintain security measures to protect the network from threats and unauthorized access.
- Ensuring compatibility and seamless integration of core network components with the radio access network (RAN) and other network domains.
- Experience with network protocols and interfaces, including SIP, Diameter, GTP, and S1-MME.
- Assist in analyzing and enhancing the operation and maintenance practice and processes to meet emerging business requirements.
- Demonstrate keenness in updating own knowledge and skills relating to the technologies and systems relating to network and services.
- Demonstrate awareness and concern for quality standards, security guidelines and safety regulations.
- Ensure confidentiality and propriety of the assignments in order to safeguard their strategic importance to e&.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Computer or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Expertise in IP networking, including routing protocols, IP addressing, and network design.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, or similar.
- Familiarity with network security concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and participate in continuous learning.
