Engineering Assistant

Join Celestica's engineering team to support next-generation server hardware testing, diagnostic execution, and failure analysis. This is an ideal hands-on position for engineering graduates or technicians looking to build expertise in hardware testing, Unix environments, and manufacturing operations.

Job Description

• Support server testing, execute Unix terminal commands, and perform software loading.
• Run diagnostic programs to identify error codes, perform rework, and support Failure Analysis (FA).
• Assist engineers with pilot runs, daily production tracking, and order re-configurations.
• Maintain 5S standards, line compliance, and equipment storage.
• Collaborate in cross-functional Kaizen initiatives and Change Request (CR) projects to optimize production workflows, improve WMS operations, and drive operational efficiency
• Log daily test results, track tickets, and update cross-functional teams via MS Office and messaging tools.
• Maintain 5S standards, line compliance, equipment/WIP storage, and handle daily/weekly reporting and ticketing.
• Any other ad-hoc task as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering fields.
• Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with server hardware, Unix/Linux terminal navigation, and standard diagnostic testing.
• Practical Skills: Ability to read basic schematics/drawings and use standard hand tools safely.
• Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, quick learner, and a reliable team player with strong communication skills.
