You will be part of the Engineering team, a dedicated group of professionals committed to ensuring the safety, functionality, and seamless operation of our property. Reporting to the Duty Engineering Supervisor and working closely with the Engineering leadership team, you will contribute to the daily operations that keep our hotel running smoothly and efficiently.

As an Engineering Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering timely, highquality maintenance support across the hotel, with a particular focus on painting and preventive maintenance tasks. You will respond to internal requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure safety and compliance across all assigned work areas. Your expertise and attention to detail will directly support operational excellence and enhance the overall guest and associate experience at Rosewood.

• Respond promptly to service and emergency work orders, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, minimizing downtime and operational disruption.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment history.
• Ensure safety proceduresincluding lockout/tagoutare consistently followed when working on electrical or mechanical equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the Duty Engineering Supervisor on progress, priorities, and any issues requiring escalation.
  

• You bring at least one year of experience in an Engineering role within a 5star hotel environment.
• You have strong technical proficiency in at least one trade related to your educational background.
• You are detailoriented, organized, and able to manage tasks with speed and accuracy.
• You're a problemsolver who remains calm under pressure and uses good judgment to resolve challenges.
• You work well independently but also thrive as part of a collaborative team.
• You can speak, read, and write English with fluency, enabling clear communication with colleagues and guests.
