Role Description
We are looking for a senior Cairo Hub Director / General Manager to lead and establish a multi-disciplinary engineering production hub in Cairo, with full operational and business responsibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in engineering or architectural design.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing design/engineering teams or production hubs.
- Proven experience managing 40+ employees across multiple disciplines.
- Experience with BIM-based production workflows.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, and BIM 360.
- PMP or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with Saudi/GCC engineering or architectural companies is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of KSA design standards and client expectations.
- Must be Cairo-based and available full-time.
- Fluent Arabic and professional English.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Cairo production hub from Day 1.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage 40–50+ employees across multiple disciplines.
- Set up office infrastructure, IT, VPN, software, HR systems, and operational processes.
- Lead QA/QC implementation and ensure high-quality project deliverables.
- Manage daily coordination with Riyadh and discipline heads.
- Oversee resource allocation, productivity, project performance, and delivery.
- Manage the Cairo office P&L, staffing costs, overheads, and software licenses.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law, payroll, and HR requirements.
- Deliver projects within approved budgets and timelines.
- Drive cost-control initiatives and improve office profitability.
- Review and approve technical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Participate in technical and client meetings with Saudi/GCC stakeholders.
