We are now looking for anEngineering Managerwho is botharchitect and craftsman, someone who codes, reviews, deploys, and leads by example while scaling a globally distributed team that builds at the intersection ofAI, automation, and high-availability systems.

• Architect, lead, and buildthe end-to-end technology stack powering estaie's global platformfrom APIs and data pipelines to AI-driven automation.
• Stay hands-on:You'll code (Python, TypeScript, SQL), review PRs, mentor engineers, and set the engineering bar for quality and scalability.
• Translate vision into architecture:Partner with the CTO and AI leadership to design systems that support multi-region deployments, dynamic pricing models, and agentic automation pipelines.
• Drive technical strategy:Balance quick iteration with robust system design , applying microservice principles, event-driven patterns, and CI/CD excellence.
• Oversee integrations:Design and maintain scalable integrations with booking channels, communication platforms, fintech gateways, and internal automation tools.
• Champion reliability and observability:Own uptime, security, and performance across multiple regions and environments (Cloudflare WAF, CI/CD pipelines, logging, tracing, Statsig experiments).
• Mentor and scale engineering culture:Coach engineers on architecture, clean code, and data-driven decision-making. Foster a culture of accountability, automation, and measurable impact.

• Languages:Python (FastAPI), Node.js (NestJS), Go (for microservices)
• Architecture:Event-driven and microservice-oriented, GraphQL and REST APIs, gRPC for internal communication
• Auth & Access:Cloudflare Access, OAuth2.0, JWT, domain-restricted permissions

• Core:Vertex AI, LangChain, Pinecone, OpenAI API, Gemini, Statsig for feature experimentation
• Pipelines:BigQuery + Datastream + Cloud Functions for data ingestion and transformation
• Use Cases:Dynamic pricing, lead generation agents, operational copilots, data enrichment bots

• Storage:BigQuery, Firestore, Postgres (Cloud SQL)
• Streaming:Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Kafka-like queueing for real-time updates
• Monitoring:Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana dashboards, custom anomaly detection

• Cloud: Google Cloud Platform and AWS (Cloud Run, Cloud Build, IAM, Storage, Secret Manager)
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitHub Environments, automated schema migration and testing pipelines
• IaC: Terraform (for repeatable environments and deployment orchestration)
• Security: Cloudflare WAF, Cloud Armor, encrypted secrets and domain-restricted APIs

• Payments: Stripe, Tamara, Adyen, Paymob
• Messaging: WhatsApp Business API, Twilio, Telegram bots
• Channels: PMS sync via API webhooks

• 812 years of software engineering experience,with at least3+ years leading technical teamsin high-growth SaaS or platform environments.
• Proven track record ofshipping complex productsacross frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Deep hands-on skills inPython, TypeScript, SQL, and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
• Understanding ofML workflows and prompt orchestration(Vertex AI, LangChain, or custom LLM pipelines).
• Strong grounding in softwaredesign patterns, CI/CD automation, andmicroservice scaling.
• Experience managing aremote, distributed team, with high accountability and async collaboration culture.
• Bias for action: you debug, document, automate, and measure.
• You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and care deeply aboutbuilding products that work, not just systems that run.
