Engineering Manager

Role Description The Engineering Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Asyut, Egypt. The individual in this role will oversee engineering teams, guide technical decision-making, and ensure that project objectives, timelines, and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-disciplinary efforts, managing resource allocation, and facilitating integration between engineering, software development, and project stakeholders. The Engineering Manager will review designs, monitor site activities as needed, resolve technical issues, and maintain alignment with ECB's processes and ISO-compliant standards. The role also involves mentoring team members, fostering collaboration, and reporting progress and risks to senior leadership and clients.
Qualifications

• Strong Engineering Management and Project Management skills to oversee complex, multidisciplinary projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Proven Team Leadership abilities to coach, motivate, and develop engineering teams in a collaborative, performance-focused environment.
• Experience with Software Development and Integration to coordinate technical solutions and ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
• Ability to align engineering activities with organizational standards, quality systems, and client requirements.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are an asset.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience working in consultancy or construction environments, preferably within Egypt or similar markets.
• Demonstrated capacity to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
