Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team in our Oil & Gas manufacturing operations. The role involves overseeing the design, drafting, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements. The Engineering Manager will drive efficiency, innovation, and quality across all engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, designers, and draughtsman across Static, Piping, and Structural disciplines.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all engineering activities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and calculations in compliance with client and regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to industry codes such as ASME, ISO, and project-specific standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement, production, and clients for smooth project execution.
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance, conduct appraisals, and implement training programs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and optimization of engineering workflows.
- Ensure proper documentation, version control, and knowledge management across all projects.
- Manage resource allocation, project schedules, and budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and company policies in all engineering activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
- Total experience: Minimum15 years in Engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas or heavy manufacturing.
- Managerial experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar managerial role.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, and draughtsman.
- Strong knowledge of static equipment, piping, and structural design in manufacturing projects.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, SmartPlant, or equivalent.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and codes (ASME, ISO, API, etc.) is essential.
Preferred:
- Experience in pressure vessel, skid packages, or heavy fabrication projects.
- Exposure to offshore and onshore Oil & Gas project engineering.
