Role Overview
You will be responsible for leading the structural steel design discipline, managing teams, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering high-quality steel designs from concept through IFC for major industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilitie
- sLead and oversee structural steel design across all stages: concept, schematic, detailed design, and IF
- CManage, mentor, and develop a team of structural engineers and BIM modeler
- sPerform, review, and approve structural analysis, steel member design, and connection desig
- nCoordinate closely with Architecture, MEP, BIM, fabrication, and construction team
- sEnsure compliance with local and international steel codes (ECP, AISC, BS, Eurocode
- )Implement and enforce QA/QC procedures for all steel design deliverable
- sSupport value engineering, constructability reviews, and fabrication optimizatio
- nReview shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection sequence
- sRepresent the structural steel discipline in client meetings and technical workshop
