Job Description
Technical support for site activities (construction, installation, testing, and commissioning) from an engineering/design perspective. Represent the engineering department on site
Control and communicate design changes based on site conditions
Provide timely, clear, and comprehensive technical answers to RFIs on-site in coordination with the responsible engineers in the office
Prepare engineering/design sketches or details to support site activities in coordination with engineering teams in the office
Prepare shop drawings activities in coordination with engineering teams in the office
Control the release of IFC drawings/documents based on site conditions
Integrate and control Red-marked As-built drawings/documents and provide necessary support for the engineering team to prepare the final As-built version for all engineering deliverables to the site based on red-marked drawings from the construction team
Review and approve sub-contractors material submittal
Ensure consistency between design and execution on site
Highlight scope and/or design changes (data for claims)
Participate and provide necessary input to build and enrich the company's lesson learned and knowledge database
