Engineering Supervisor

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for a hospitality/facility site in Abu Dhabi. This role involves supervising staff and contractors, ensuring the efficient functioning of all engineering systems, and maintaining high safety and service standards. Candidates with a background in hotels or facilities are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision & Operations

• Supervise in-house and external maintenance teams
• Monitor job performance, attendance, and work quality
• Allocate and oversee daily maintenance and PPM tasks
• Inspect equipment regularly and ensure functionality and safety
• Control material usage and maintain cost efficiency

Maintenance & Reporting

• Execute routine and emergency maintenance activities
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and report findings
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance jobs as per club standards
• Submit reports on inspections, repairs, and maintenance updates

Team Leadership & Training

• Lead, coach, and motivate team members
• Support departmental training programs
• Enforce cleanliness, grooming, and uniform standards
• Promote adherence to fire, health, and hygiene protocols

Compliance & Support

• Participate in emergency response and safety drills
• Perform additional duties when required to support operations
• Maintain professional working relationships with all departments

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in hotel/facility maintenance
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Experience in PPM and managing maintenance schedules
• Good communication, leadership, and documentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools

IT Security Awareness:

• Comply with all IT and security policies
• Attend IT awareness sessions and report any security breaches immediately
