JOB OBJECTIVES:
The EFL Instructor is responsible for delivery of knowledge and skills training in English as a Foreign Language offered in accordance with the approved curriculum and the ARX policies and procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and deliver pedagogically sound lessons relevant to the Faculty's KPI.
- Participate in the preparation, correction and assessment of examination papers and assignments, and invigilation of examination.
- Monitor and enforce student attendance.
- Participate in the counselling, remediation, and administration of student.
- Participate in the ongoing review and development of curriculum content, teaching methods and methods of student assessment.
- Maintain and develop professional competence through active engagement in professional development activities provided by the College.
- Undertake other duties as required by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in any academic field from an accredited university.
- EFL/ESL Teaching Certification (TESOL / CELTA / DELTA / TEFL.
- Candidates with a PGCE or equivalent professional teaching qualification will also be consider.
- Demonstrated experience developing innovative teaching and learning materials and resources.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Well-developed skills in teaching technology such as Blackboard, and Brightspace.
- Advanced problem-solving skill.
- Advanced level in communication and Interpersonal Skill.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office.
- Knowledge in completing administrative tasks to a high standard.
