Role Description The English Instructor (Dokki/full time) will deliver engaging, learner-centered English lessons to individuals and groups, following Guide Academy's curriculum and teaching standards. This full-time role is on-site and based in Cairo, with a primary focus on designing lesson plans, preparing instructional materials, and assessing learners progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams. The instructor will provide constructive feedback, support learners with diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual and group needs. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, participating in training and professional development, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching quality and program effectiveness. The role also involves contributing to a supportive learning environment that reflects the academy's commitment to excellence, inclusion, and practical skill-building.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching, Language Teaching, and general Teaching.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge in Education and curriculum implementation.
- Candidates should possess good Writing skills for preparing lesson plans, assessments, and learner feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching English to learners of varying levels, ideally in classroom or academy settings.
- Ability to communicate clearly, manage classrooms effectively, and support diverse learners in an inclusive environment.
- Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and reliability in fulfilling full-time on-site teaching commitments in Cairo.
- Relevant teaching certifications (e.g., CELTA, TEFL, TESOL) are an advantage.
