Role Description The English Instructor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The instructor will deliver engaging English lessons, design lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs. Daily tasks include preparing instructional materials, assessing student progress through assignments and exams, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The instructor will also participate in curriculum development, contribute to academic planning, and collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and learner outcomes. Additional responsibilities may include holding office hours, supporting learners academic and professional language goals, and attending staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong English Teaching, Language Teaching, and general Teaching skills.
- Candidates should possess solid Education-related skills, including course planning and learner assessment.
- Candidates should possess effective Writing skills for creating instructional materials, feedback, and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in classroom management, learner engagement, and differentiated instruction for varied proficiency levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
