Role Description The English Teacher for toddlers and preschoolers is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. The teacher will design and deliver age-appropriate English lessons that promote language development through play, songs, stories, and interactive activities. Daily responsibilities include planning and preparing lesson materials, leading small and large group learning experiences, and supporting children's social and emotional growth in line with the center's Montessori-inspired philosophy. The teacher will observe and document children's progress, maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment, and collaborate closely with colleagues and families to ensure consistent communication and care. The role also involves participating in staff meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting school events and activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience working with toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices, including developing age-appropriate, play-based learning activities.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues in a clear, respectful, and collaborative manner.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, English, or a related field; Montessori or child psychology training is an advantage.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and ability to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom that supports diverse learning needs.
- Organizational skills and reliability, with the ability to follow routines, safety procedures, and school policies consistently.
- Experience in bilingual or language-enriched environments, and openness to continuous professional development.
