English Teacher (online)

Role Description The English Teacher (online) will deliver engaging English lessons to adult and young adult learners, following 4level1's CEFR-aligned curriculum and teaching guidelines. This is a part-time or full-time role based in Cairo, Egypt, with a combination of on-site sessions and work-from-home teaching and preparation. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, teaching live online classes, assigning and checking tasks, and providing constructive feedback to support learner progress. The teacher will monitor student performance, maintain clear records, and communicate regularly with learners and the academic team. The role also involves participating in periodic training, meetings, and quality assurance activities to maintain teaching standards.

Qualifications

• Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience in online instruction preferred.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education practices aligned with CEFR or similar frameworks.
• Excellent Communication skills for clear instruction, feedback, and collaboration with learners and colleagues.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent teaching experience.
• Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) is highly desirable.
• Comfort with educational technology, virtual classroom tools, and learning management systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to accommodate learner schedules.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and the ability to teach diverse groups of learners.
