Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans for English language and literature classes
- Provide engaging and interactive learning experiences for students
- Assess and monitor student progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in professional development activities and staff meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field (British/UK Qualified Only)
- Teaching certification or license
- Proven experience in teaching English language and literature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness of diverse learning needs
- Fluency in English
Day-to-day
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with curriculum standards
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and inspire students
