Role Description The English Teacher role at The Conversationalists is a part-time, on-site position based in Ismailia, with opportunities for both in-person and remote teaching. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering interactive lessons that incorporate game-based learning, facilitating conversation practice, and supporting learners in improving fluency, accuracy, and confidence in English. The teacher will plan lessons aligned with course objectives, adapt materials to different levels and learner needs, and provide constructive feedback on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Additional tasks include maintaining learner progress records, collaborating with other teachers to share best practices, and ensuring a positive, inclusive classroom environment across online and offline settings.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in English Teaching, Teaching, and Education, with experience supporting ESL learners.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing engaging, level-appropriate activities and game-based learning tasks.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and foster supportive interaction.
• Relevant teaching certification, degree in English, Education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with online teaching platforms and digital tools for interactive language learning.
• Strong intercultural awareness and commitment to creating an inclusive, learner-centered classroom.
