Enterprise Application Manager
Job Description
The Enterprise Application Manager is responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing the organization's enterprise application landscape, including ERP, CRM, and other core business systems.
The role ensures applications operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with business requirements, while supporting application enhancements, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams for application-related requirements, issues, and enhancements.
- Oversee application support, upgrades, patches, and enhancements across ERP, CRM, and other business-critical systems.
- Coordinate application lifecycle activities, including implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Ensure effective integration between enterprise applications and other systems, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Support application governance by ensuring compliance with security standards, internal controls, and IT policies.
- Manage relationships with application vendors and service providers, ensuring SLA compliance and effective issue resolution.
- Lead and supervise application support teams or vendors, ensuring timely incident resolution and service quality.
- Support application-related projects, including digital transformation initiatives, process automation, and system enhancements.
- Prepare regular reports on application performance, incidents, risks, and improvement initiatives for the Applications Director
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (ITIL, PMP, ERP/CRM certifications) are an advantage.
Previous Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in enterprise application management, business applications support, or IT systems management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and CRM platforms is strongly preferred.
Special requirements:
- Strong expertise in enterprise applications management, including ERP, CRM, and integrated business systems.
- Proven experience in application lifecycle management, system support, upgrades, and integrations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- High governance, security, and service-delivery mindset with experience managing vendors and SLAs.
