Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Solutions Enterprise Architect and Technical Team Lead to act as the technical mastermind for large-scale, enterprise-wide digital initiatives. This role combines deep hands-on architecture expertise with strong technical leadership, owning the end-to-end technical vision, solution design, and delivery governance across complex, multi-disciplinary programs. The ideal candidate will bridge business strategy and execution, guiding teams from concept through successful deployment at scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Solution Architecture
- Define and own the technical vision, strategy, and architecture roadmap for large digital programs, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives.
- Lead the design of scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance architectures across modern technologies including Cloud, Microservices, Integration Platforms, Automation, Data & AI.
- Serve as the architecture authority, evaluating, selecting, and approving technologies and solution approaches based on business and technical requirements.
- Establish and enforce architecture governance, design principles, patterns, and development standards to ensure consistency, quality, and long-term maintainability.
2. Technical Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor large technical teams, including senior developers and technical leads, providing clear direction and technical guidance.
- Oversee technical implementation and delivery, ensuring adherence to approved architectures and achievement of project milestones.
- Drive technical reviews, quality assurance, and best practices around performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical challenges, providing hands-on support and strategic problem-solving.
3. Business & Delivery Alignment
- Partner closely with business leaders and IT stakeholders to translate business objectives and digital service requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Guide the design of digital services that enhance user experience and support operational excellence.
- Define optimal implementation, deployment, and integration strategies across environments.
- Proactively identify technical risks, dependencies, and delivery bottlenecks, implementing mitigation strategies across the delivery lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, and enterprise systems design.
- Strong experience designing and delivering architectures using modern digital technologies (cloud-native, microservices, integrations, automation, data platforms, AI).
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complex technical projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong ability to connect business strategy, technical architecture, and execution.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., cloud, architecture, enterprise frameworks) are highly desirable.
