To provide technical and advisory services related to government financial ERP systems, supervise support activities, and lead knowledge transfer processes to ensure optimal and efficient use of financial systems within the Fund.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide the required technical consultations and supervise support and knowledge transfer for financial systems.
- Analyze financial business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Configure and set up various financial modules, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Financial reporting and expense management
- Offer technical and strategic advice to the Finance Department on best practices for system utilization.
- Train and guide end users to ensure optimal use of the financial system.
- Develop technical documentation and user manuals.
- Lead end-to-end implementation of financial systems projects.
- Analyze current financial processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Design and develop workflows, policies, and procedures within the system.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Train and mentor, the technical team to develop their skills in government financial systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing government financial ERP systems, including requirements gathering and analysis.
- Experience with government financial systems such as:
- Public budget
- Final accounts
- Payment orders
- Accrual basis accounting
- Fixed assets registration and tracking
- Proven experience in implementing government financial ERP projects in Saudi Arabia, with at least two fully completed projects.
- Strong understanding of the architecture and structure of government financial ERP systems and integration between their components.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English (reading and writing).
- Ability to provide technical advisory services and lead knowledge transfer in finance, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting (accrual and cash basis), and asset management.
- Strong ability to deliver effective technical guidance to the Finance Department teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in: Computer Science or Software Engineering or IT Or a related field
- Professional certification in financial systems from a recognized provider.
