Enterprise Resources Planning Specialist

The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Developer will design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo ERP solutions that support clients business processes and growth objectives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, configuring and customizing Odoo modules, developing new modules and features, integrating Odoo with third-party systems, and optimizing database performance.

The role also involves troubleshooting technical and functional issues, implementing system enhancements, managing upgrades and deployments, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to ensure that solutions are stable, scalable, secure, and aligned with operational requirements.

The ERP Developer will document technical designs, support testing and deployment, maintain code quality, and provide guidance on Odoo architecture, usage, security, and governance.

This is a remote contract role.

• Mandatory professional experience in Odoo ERP development, configuration, customization, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo architecture, modules, workflows, security rules, access rights, and development best practices.
• Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, APIs, and Odoo development frameworks.
• Experience developing and customizing Odoo modules based on business and functional requirements.
• Experience integrating Odoo with external platforms, applications, payment gateways, APIs, and third-party systems.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and business processes across functions such as CRM, Sales, Accounting, Inventory, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Projects, and Human Resources.
• Ability to analyze and optimize business processes and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Strong database experience, including schema design, PostgreSQL query optimization, data migration, data integrity, and performance management.
• Understanding of system integration, workflow automation, and digital transformation concepts.
• Experience with Git, version control, testing, debugging, deployment, and technical documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines within a contract environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP platforms may be considered an additional advantage, but hands-on Odoo development experience is mandatory.
