EcoConServ is seeking a qualified and motivated Environmental Consultant to join its team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of environmental and sustainability projects in Egypt and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Management
- Lead and coordinate environmental consultancy projects from initiation through completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with required quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, project teams, technical specialists, and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
Technical Report Preparation
Prepare and contribute to a range of environmental and social studies and technical reports, including:
- Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
- Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA)
- Environmental and Social Due Diligence (ESDD) assessments
- Environmental Management Plans (EMP)
- Environmental and Social Management Plans and related management documents
- Environmental studies covering renewable energy, infrastructure, industry, waste management, climate change, and other sectors
Proposal and Business Development Support
- Review tender documents, Requests for Proposals, and Terms of Reference.
- Develop technical methodologies and approaches in line with tender requirements.
- Support the preparation of technical proposals, work plans, staffing arrangements, schedules, and project deliverables.
- Contribute to the identification and development of new consultancy opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Three to five years of relevant professional experience, preferably within an environmental consultancy firm.
- Demonstrated experience in environmental and social assessments and technical report preparation.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Experience in technical proposal development is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively under deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Egypt and internationally.
