Job Description
Technical & Consultancy
- Prepare and contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), ESIA, screening, scoping, and baseline environmental studies.
- Support environmental assessments related to air quality, noise, soil, groundwater, waste, and ecological aspects.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations (e.g. KSA / NCEC) and applicable international standards .
- Assist in identifying mitigation measures and environmental management plans (EMP/ESMP).
- Draft technical reports, non-technical summaries, and regulatory submission documents.
Project Support & Coordination
- Support EIA projects from initiation through authority submission and approval.
- Coordinate with internal TIC teams (monitoring, laboratory testing, inspection).
- Interface with clients, regulators, and subcontractors under senior consultant supervision.
- Contribute to proposals, technical inputs, and cost estimates.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
Experience
- 35 years of professional experience in EIA / ESIA consultancy or environmental consulting.
- Exposure to infrastructure, industrial, energy, or urban development projects is preferred.
- Experience supporting regulatory submissions and authority coordination.
Technical Knowledge
- Working knowledge of EIA regulations, permitting processes, and environmental standards.
- Familiarity with environmental monitoring and laboratory testing interfaces within TIC activities.
- Awareness of IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines, and ISO-based systems is a plus.
