Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Founded in 1999 by Professor Salah Khater, Alameda Healthcare is a prominent healthcare network managed by Dr. Fahad Salah Khater. Based in Cairo, the network operates four tertiary care hospitals, with two additional facilities currently under construction, increasing its capacity to 890 beds. This full-time, on-site role of Environmental Health Safety Specialist is based in Cairo. The role involves implementing and monitoring environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key tasks include conducting safety training, performing risk assessments, inspecting facilities, ensuring workplace safety, and addressing occupational health concerns. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a culture of safety is also an essential part of the role.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Health & Safety, and Workplace Safety.
• Expertise in Occupational Health practices to manage and mitigate workplace health concerns effectively.
• Ability to design, deliver, and manage Safety Training programs and initiatives.
• Familiarity with local and international EHS regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational health, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare setting and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
