Role Description

This full-time, on-site role of Environmental Health Safety Specialist is based in Cairo. The role involves implementing and monitoring environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key tasks include conducting safety training, performing risk assessments, inspecting facilities, ensuring workplace safety, and addressing occupational health concerns. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a culture of safety is also an essential part of the role.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Health & Safety, and Workplace Safety.
  • Expertise in Occupational Health practices to manage and mitigate workplace health concerns effectively.
  • Ability to design, deliver, and manage Safety Training programs and initiatives.
  • Familiarity with local and international EHS regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health, environmental science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
