Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist. The selected candidate will oversee the implementation and management of health, safety, and environmental programs. Daily tasks include conducting safety inspections, delivering safety training sessions, monitoring workplace compliance, and ensuring adherence to all relevant safety and environmental regulations. The role also involves preparing reports, identifying potential hazards, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Health & Safety and Occupational Health regulations
• Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles and practices
• Proficiency in Workplace Safety, including hazard identification and risk management
• Ability to conduct and deliver effective Safety Training programs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with local and international safety standards
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field
• Certification in EHS or related safety programs (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is an advantage
