Role Objectives
To implement and monitor EHS programs and food safety practices within Breadfast food manufacturing facilities, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company standards, while fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental sustainability across all operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Occupational Health & Safety
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and safety inspections.
- Enforce the use of PPE and monitor compliance across all production areas.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
2. Food Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure hygiene and sanitation practices align with HACCP, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams to support food handling, storage, and contamination prevention.
- Monitor cleaning schedules, pest control logs, and hygiene audits
3. Legal Compliance & Documentation
- Stay updated on Egyptian labor, food safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain and organize HSE records: training logs, inspection checklists, SDSs, waste tracking, etc.
- Support regulatory inspections and customer audits.
4. Training & Engagement
- Deliver HSE and food safety training to new and existing employees.
- Organize safety drills (fire, evacuation, chemical spill) and awareness campaigns.
- Promote employee involvement through safety committees or suggestion programs.
5. Environmental Management
- Monitor energy, water, and waste metrics; suggest reduction initiatives.
- Support implementation of environmental management programs (e.g., recycling, composting, emissions control).
- Coordinate proper storage, labeling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
Required Knowledge, Education & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Food Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and local HSE regulations.
- Certifications like NEBOSH, ISO 45001, or OSHA are a plus.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE software.

Working Conditions:
• Primarily based in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Requires shift work, including weekends, nights, and holidays if needed
