Job Description

The Environmental Manager oversees the processes that seek to control environmental entities in orientation to a plan or idea. This position entails a wide remit and will review the whole operation, carrying out environmental audits and assessments, identifying and resolving environmental problems and ensuring necessary changes are implemented.

  • Manage and oversee the environmental performance of the organization including developing, implementing and monitoring environmental strategies that promote sustainable development.
  • Keep abreast of international developments that can contribute to environmental best practices.
  • Provide professional knowledge and expertise in the administration and support of the environmental programs.
  • Develop systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Manage the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
  • Implement all the policies, procedures and norms as per the organization's set of system.
  • Monitor all the adopted practices of the organization pertaining to in-built environmental practices all across the project
  • Generate and maintain the reports, records and documents.
  • Monitor and regulate Company's compliance with guidelines set forth by the organization, complying all the applicable international and local norms as per the applicability.
  • Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans that ensure corporate sustainable development.
  • Manage all the different environmental strategies will be developed and implemented so that the organization's long term vision for sustainability can be achieved.
  • Ensure that the implication of best environmental practices will be adopted to improve the set system of the organization in an effective way.
  • Take the lead on sustainable procurement for all goods and services.
  • Manage the environmental aspects will be included for adopting the best practices for enhancing positive environment aspects.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Professional degree in Lead Auditor Course ISO 14001 or GSAS Certification
