Job Description
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for packaging formats, consumables, and raw materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers aligned with quality and cost objectives.
- Negotiate commercial terms, manage procurement cycles, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align sourcing decisions with operational plans.
- Stay informed on market trends, legislation, and supply chain risks to support proactive decision-making.
- Contribute to innovation by sourcing new materials and technologies for product development.
- Support expansion into third-party sourcing services and help build scalable models for external customers.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within packaging or related industries.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen with a track record of cost optimization.
- Knowledge of packaging materials, consumables, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., IPS accreditation) and global supplier network are advantageous.
