Project Scope
We are seeking an Epic Optime/Anesthesia certified analyst to support a large-scale Epic implementation in Dubai across multiple hospital perioperative departments. The project includes redesigning surgical workflows, replacing legacy OR systems, and implementing standardized perioperative documentation, anesthesia workflows, case scheduling, preference cards, and device integration.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Epic Optime/Anesthesia Analyst to support perioperative and anesthesia build across surgical service lines. This role ensures that OR scheduling, case tracking, intraoperative documentation, anesthesia records, orders, and device-driven data capture are accurately built, tested, and deployed across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and configure Epic Optime and Anesthesia workflows including case scheduling, preference cards, case tracking, intra-op documentation, and anesthesia charting.
- Gather requirements with perioperative leadership, anesthesiologists, and clinical teams, translating operational needs into system design and build.
- Configure SmartForms, SmartSets, intra-op documentation tools, anesthesia orders, device integration mappings, and perioperative security.
- Execute unit, integrated, and UAT testing; troubleshoot defects and coordinate resolutions with cross-module teams (Orders, Cupid, Radiant, Willow, ADT).
- Support training, go-live readiness, and postgo-live stabilization/optimization for perioperative and anesthesia departments.
Qualifications
- Epic Optime and/or Anesthesia certification required.
- 35 years of perioperative/anesthesia Epic build experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical workflows, anesthesia documentation, scheduling, and clinical device integration.
- International healthcare implementation experience preferred, not required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within large project teams.
