We are looking for a Senior-level Epicor Kinetic Expert to join a manufacturing client working in a post-go-live environment.
The project is focused on:
- Stabilization of the ERP system;
- Optimization of performance and integrations;
- Continuous iterative improvements.
This role is ideal for a specialist who can work across the full Epicor Kinetic stack — from backend logic (BPM, Functions) to UI customization (Application Studio) and integrations (REST API).
You will work directly with the client's technical stakeholders and contribute to a complex, production-grade ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize BPM (Method & Data Directives);
- Develop and reuse Epicor Functions;
- Implement and maintain REST API integrations with external systems;
- Customize UI using Application Studio (layers, events, DataViews);
- Develop and optimize BAQs and operational dashboards;
- Configure and troubleshoot Task Agent;
- Perform end-to-end troubleshooting across application, BPM, and integrations;
- Participate in upgrade impact analysis and system preparation for future releases;
- Document solutions using Solution Workbench and external documentation;
- Collaborate directly with client stakeholders and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- Strong hands-on experience with Epicor Kinetic (mandatory);
- Proven expertise in: BPM Studio (Method Directives, Data Directives, debugging, performance tuning);
- Epicor Functions (creation, reuse, integration with BPM and UI);
- BAQ Studio (complex queries, subqueries, PIVOT, advanced data modeling);
- Application Studio (layers, DataViews, events, widgets);
- Epicor REST API v2 (OData, integrations, transaction handling);
- Task Agent (configuration and troubleshooting);
- Solid understanding of upgrade-safe development practices;
- Experience with MS SQL Server (query diagnostics and performance analysis);
- Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple layers.
Nice to Have
- Epicor certifications (Kinetic Developer / Consultant);
- Experience with: Automation Studio / Workato;
- Service Connect;
- Cloud SDK / UD Service Designer;
- SSRS reporting in Kinetic;
- Migration from Classic UI to Kinetic Browser UX;
- Power BI (using BAQ as data source);
- Background in manufacturing domain.
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years in software development;
- 2+ years with Epicor ERP;
- At least 6 months with Epicor Kinetic Browser UX.
