Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Manager
Job Summary
Manage the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of company heavy equipment, vehicles, and machinery, ensuring reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining efficient project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Oversee daily maintenance, repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing.
- Manage maintenance budgets, schedules, spare parts, and resources.
- Supervise maintenance technicians, mechanics, and external service providers.
- Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.
- Manage spare parts and maintenance inventory to ensure availability and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and equipment safety standards.
- Maintain accurate equipment records, maintenance logs, warranties, and service contracts.
- Prepare maintenance reports and performance analysis.
- Recommend equipment improvements, replacements, and new technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 10–15 years of equipment maintenance experience, preferably in construction, mining, or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with ERP/CMMS and maintenance management systems.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, budgeting, vendor negotiation, and communication skills.
- CMRP, PMP, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
