About Our Client
The client is an investment manager focused on frontier and emerging markets
Job Description
Source investment opportunities in the MENA market both in the public and private markets
Provide research and analysis on key market segments and economic developments
Monitor a watch list of investments including by way of regular interaction with companies and expert networks
Build and maintain financial models and regularly interact with company management and industry participants
Present research findings to the investment team via written reports, information discussions, and presentations
Provide support to the lead portfolio manager on portfolio analytics and performance presentation
The Successful Applicant
Fluent Arabic speaker
At least 3 to 5 years of professional investment experience on the buy-side in the Middle East
Bachelor's or Master's degree with major coursework in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or a related degree
Strong work ethic, demonstrated track record of excellence, and ability to achieve results
CME qualifications preferred, else candidate needs to be prepared to take required examinations upon joining
CFA qualification or progress towards attainment of the CFA charter is preferred
