Job Title: Sales Manager C&I - GCC BESS

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager – C&I BESS is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic clients for commercial and industrial (C&I) Battery Energy Storage Systems in GCC countries. Will manage the entire sales cycle, from identifying client needs and negotiating contracts to ensuring successful project delivery and after-sales support. The role involves close coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored energy storage solutions that meet client expectations and align with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in targeted clients for commercial and industrial (C&I).
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities, focusing on EPCs, developers and distributors in the renewable energy sector.
- Independently lead the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closure.
- Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
- Early engagement with clients to understand their challenges and issues and convert it into opportunity
- Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:
- Stay updated on BESS technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting the energy storage industry.
- Provide clients with detailed information about the technical aspects and benefits of BESS solutions, ensuring that products meet customer needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase BESS capabilities and advantages
- Market Intelligence and Strategy:
- Analyze market trends, client requirements, and competitor activities to shape sales strategies and product offerings.
- Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives aimed at increasing market penetration and client retention.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular reports on account activities, sales forecasts, and customer feedback to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client communications, and contractual obligations in CRM systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with product development, marketing, and customer service teams to align client needs with business offerings.
- Provide feedback to internal teams on customer demands and emerging market trends to support product development and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the renewable energy or energy storage sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of BESS technology, market trends, and key industry players.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading projects.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
