Sigma Engineering Works, a company of Mazrui Energy is seeking a Senior Estimation Engineer to join our Fabrication Teamin Mussafah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Responsibilities
- Receipt of Enquires from Sales Department or directly from client.
- Review of enquires/ tenders & Clarify all technical points with clients with reference to various code books like ASME SEC. Vlll Div. I, API 650, ASME B 31.3. ASME B 31.8, BSEN12079, DNV2.7-1, 2.7-3 etc.
- Collect preliminary design outputs from engineering department based on the design parameters received from clients. ( having knowledge of PVElite is as added advantage)
- Preparing BOM and calculating the weight of the equipment/Items as per the customers enquiry, specification and drawings.
- Cutting plan preparation by using Auto cad to reduce material wastage and cost, if required.
- Plotting enquiry for the materials, sub contract activities directly or through Purchase department.
- Conducting market surveys to gain information of the price of materials, subcontract activities.
- Surveys the resources needed for the production process including the time consumed (man hours/machining hours) in Coordination with the Production/ Machine Shop Engineers and also reference with Time study chart.
- Accountable for estimating the production cost include material cost, labor cost, subcontract prices, consumable charges, overhead expenses and profit.
- Developing covering letters/Quotations with technical/commercial Terms and conditions including the price list.
- Presenting to the Engineering Department head, Sales department, the organized sales offer including Quotation, Estimation, Sales Quote Summary sheet for final checking, review and approval.
- Ensure that Quotation submitted to client within the time frame.
- To co-ordinate with Sales once client come back for Technical discussion and negotiation.
- After the receipt of PO through Sales, conduct technical Contract review and provide comments to sales prior to accept the PO.
- After the acceptance of PO by the Sales department, hand over all technical documents, including estimation, sales quote summary, sub contract quotations, material quotations to the concerned Project Engineer.
Qualifications
- Education - Mechanical Engineering
- 8-10 years Experience in the Estimation of Fabrication projects in pressure vessels, heat exchanges and process skid package.
- Must have experience in UAE Fabrication companies .
- Experience in ASME SEC VIII DIV 1 and DIV 2, PED CE marking, ANSI, ASTM, BS, API 650 , API 12J, TEMA, AWWA, NACE, SHELL DEP , ADNOC specifications etc.
- Estimation/tendering in design & fabrication of Pressure Vessels, storage/transporter Tanks, Flare Stacks, Process piping and flow lines/ offsite Piping's, metering skids, production/test manifolds, Structural & Heat exchangers/coolers.
- Literate with AutoCAD.
- Knowledge in PVElite is a plus
- Knowledge of HTRI is a plus.
